The dental plan is a stand-alone plan and not part of the medical plan. MetLife is the claims administrator for the dental plan and you have access to a network of private-practice and dental group providers. Benefits are higher when you use a network provider, however, the out of network benefit offers flexibility to see your choice of provider.
